Money & Property

Money may be sent to an inmate in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the inmate. Do not send cash. If you know the inmates "A" number write that number down on the check or money order.

Money, including cash, may be deposited to an inmate's account at the Administration Building lobby between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours money in form of a certified check or money order may be deposited at the Building One lobby.

Money must be deposited on an inmate's account before 8:00 AM on Monday if the inmate wishes to use the money for Commissary that Thursday. Money may be released to a person outside the jail during normal business hours only (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday). The recipient of the money must show proof of identification. An inmate's cash balance will not be given out to any person.

We will not accept property for any inmate. Inmates may release property, excluding clothing. Only inmates sentenced to state prison may release all of their property. Court clothing may be arranged through the inmate's attorney, or through the Facility supervisor if they do not have an attorney.
