A Personal Message from Sheriff Tom Allman
The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office is experiencing tremendous budget cuts. Many programs and services which are now being delivered may be reduced and/or eliminated. Several citizens have expressed concern about the loss and or reduction of these services and have asked how they could assist us in maintaining these essential services. The simple truth is, cash donations will assist us in our effort to maintain these services.
While the experts have stated that we will soon be on the road to economic recovery, we cannot afford to continue to do business as we have in the past. I am asking you to consider donating to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office using your Pay-Pal account, or via direct donation. Keeping our K-9 program in full operation is very important to our County, yet it alone costs an additional $30,000 a year to operate. While the booking logs are proving to be a very popular site, it also costs the department to update this information daily.
Please consider donating whatever you can and help me provide the necessary resources to this county so Public Safety is not compromised.
Thomas D. Allman
