| Synopsis: | On 10/16/08 Deputies from the COMMET office assisted by Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration served a search warrant at 45545 Wilderness Lodge Road, Branscomb Ca. Located on the property was over 100 pounds of processed marijuana, 56 growing marijuana plants, 8 firearms, over $100,000 in US Currency, 4 ecstacy tablets, approx. 1/4 ounce of psilocybin mushrooms, less than 1 gram of cocaine, a stolen U-Haul van, scales, packing material, etc. Miki Smith was arrested for violation of section 11359 H&S, 11358 H&S, 11370.6 H&S, 11377a H&S with additional charges of 12022.1 PC and 496 PC are being requested by the DA's Office against Smith. David Thompson was arrested for violation of section 11358 H&S and with an additional charge of 11350 H&S being requested by the DA's Office against Thompson. Smilingwater Braziel, David Peek and Penny Torbert were all arrested for violation of section 11358 H&S. All five suspects were booked into the Mendocino County jail where they were subsequently released after posting bail. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
