| Synopsis: | On 10/31/08 at about 2230 hours, Mendocino County Deputies responded to the Little River Inn, for a report of a female with head injuries. Upon arrival the female advised she was the victim of a domestic assault, where she was struck several times in the head, body, and foot. Deputies responded to the 6700 block of Little River Airport Road and Road 19, where the assault allegedly took place. Deputies spoke with David Crowningshield regarding the incident. Crowningshield was arrested for domestic battery, and disconnecting the phone line, preventing a 9-1-1 call. Crowningshield was transported and booked in the county jail. The victim was transported to the Coast District Hospital for her injuries, where she was later released. |
