| Synopsis: | On 10-31-08 at about 0800 hours, Mendocino County Deputies responded to 16800 Ocean Drive, Fort Bragg, for a report of subjects trying to break into the residence (664/459PC-Attempting to commit a burglary). The subjects had fled the scene prior to law enforcements arrival. The deputies later discovered the identities of the subjects to be Erikk Smith and Dennis Hull both from Fort Bragg. Smith is a known Sureno street gang member and Hull is believed to be a close associate of Smith's. Deputies responded to Hull's residence and Hull was located and arrested at his residence without incident. Deputies responded to 18801 N. Highway 1, a known hang out for Smith. Smith was apprehended at the residence as he attempted to flee. A search warrant was later authored for this residence. Deputies discovered inside several photos of members associated to the Sureno street gang, marijuana growing equipment, and a small amount of processed marijuana. Hull and Smith were then transported to the county jail. |
