| Synopsis: | On 11/03/08 the Mendocino County Sheriffs Office received information, regarding George Vadelnieks, a missing 62 year old, that had been last seen on 11/02/08, in the Little Valley area, Fort Bragg. Sheriffs deputies learned that Vadelnieks had gone to the Little Valley area off Sherwood Road on his ATV, in an attempt to assist a friend who had gotten their vehicle stuck. The friend received assistance from a passing motorist and had returned to the Fort Bragg area prior to seeing Vadelnieks. Vadelnieks never returned home that night. Members from the Mendocino County Search and Rescue, along with sheriff deputies, began searching the area for Vadelnieks. At about 1700 hours, Vadelnieks was located without serious injuries.
