| Synopsis: | On 11/15/08 MCSO deputies responded to the Coast Hospital regarding a victim of an assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery. Deputies discovered the suspect Jaime Saldana had an argument with the victim. Saldana then took a piece of wood and began striking the victim with it. The victim attempted to call 9-1-1 but Saldana disabled the telephone. The victim was able to leave the residence and was transported to the Coast Hospital for her injuries. The victim was later released. Deputies responded to Saldana's location, where he was subsequently arrested. | |||||||||||||
