| Synopsis: | December 04, at approximately 1:30 P.M., Deputies, along with the assistance of the Fort Bragg Police Department and Mendocino County Welfare Fraud Investigators, arrested Shayne Wrede at 321 South McPherson Street in Fort Bragg. Deputies received information that Wrede was hiding at the location. Wrede, who was considered to be armed and dangerous, was eventually located concealed in a bedroom closet, after refusing to comply with several requests made by law enforcement for him to exit the residence. After Wrede's arrest, he was found to be in possession of a stun gun. Wrede was booked into the Mendocino County Jail for robbery and violation of probation. Wrede's bail was set at $275,000.00. Also arrested at the location were Vicente Souza and Lawrence Texeira. Both subjects were occupying the room Wrede was located in and both attempted to conceal Wrede from law enforcement. Souza and Texeira were booked into the Mendocino County Jail for accessory to a crime and their bail was set at $10,000.00. |
