| Synopsis: | On 12-31-08 at approximately 2230 hours, Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to 30980 Sherwood Road regarding a physical altercation in progress. Upon arrival deputies learned that the 18-year old victim, Kennith Rosenthal, was assaulted by his stepfather, Ernest Funderburk. Rosenthal had lost consciousness during the assault from being choked and was also threatened with murder by Funderburk. Funderburk was arrested and transported to the Mendocino County Jail where he was booked for 243(d) PC and 422 PC. Funderburk's bail was set at $30,000.00. | |||||||||||||
