| Synopsis: | On 01/11/09 an employee of the Pine Beach Inn reported she had been raped and sexually assaulted multiple times over the past year. The alleged suspect, Raul Monroy is the owner/manager of the Pine Beach Inn. The victim stated that Monroy would enter the same room after the victim, and then would lock the door, preventing the victim from exiting. The victim attempted to leave each time, but Monroy physically would restrain the victim, persuading the victim from leaving or reporting the crime. The victim was forced to have intercourse with Monroy. Monroy was arrested and booked into the County Jail on $100,000.00 bail. |
