During a further search of the vehicle and the suspects’ property, deputies discovered property stolen from inside the victim’s outdoor shed, drug paraphernalia, 8.7 grams (gross field weight) of what later field tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine and other controlled substances identified as lidocaine and hydromorphone-hydrochloride.

Both Sowers and Pollard were transported to and booked into the Mendocino County Jail. Pollard was booked on charges of 487 PC, 459 PC, 11377 HS, 11378 HS, 11350 HS, 11364 HS and 1203.2 PC with bail set at $25,000.00. Sowers was booked on charges of 487 PC, 459 PC and 3056 PC with no bail.
