Synopsis: On 4/8/12 at 1720 hrs. Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 2400 block of N. State St. regarding an assault with a Knife. On arrival deputies learned the assault had occurred approximately 40 minutes prior, but the victim had been stabbed in the leg by the suspect.

Deputies learned the victim and the suspect, identified as Ginger Doughty 46 of Ukiah were involved in an argument when Doughty armed herself with a kitchen knife and attacked the victim. The victim sustained several minor stab wounds to the leg prior to Doughty fleeing the location.

While still conducting their investigation, deputies learned Doughty had been taken into custody by the Willits Police Dept. for driving under the influence. Deputies took custody of Doughty and she was booked into the Mendocino County jail for the listed charges. Bail was set at $25,000.00
