Synopsis: On 06-02-2012 at approximately 1710 hours, deputies were dispatched to 31600 Bald Hill Road for a reported assault with a deadly weapon. Upon their arrival, deputies learned that the victim and Suspect Eric Seale were involved in an intimate relationship and cohabitating partners.

The victim reported that Seale and her were involved in a domestic altercation on 06-01-2012 that was reported to and investigated by the Fort Bragg Police Department. On 06-02-2012 the suspect returned home while the victim was present and a verbal argument ensued regarding the incident the day prior.

During the argument, Seale attempted to physically assault the victim with a broom stick. While the victim was in the process of leaving the location, Seale obtained a large rock then threw it at and struck the victim, which resulted in visible injury to the victimís arm. The victim left the location and called 9-1-1.

Seale was contacted at the location of occurrence and denied that any of the reported events took place. Seale, who is on active county probation, was arrested and ultimately transported to the Mendocino County Jail where he was booked on the listed charges with bail set at $25,000.00. Seale was also booked on domestic violence related charges by the Fort Bragg Police Department for the reported incident on 06-01-2012.
