Synopsis: On 07/17/2013 at about 1831 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 20101 Lyta Way in Fort Bragg for a reported trespass at a vacant residence.

Upon arrival Deputies observed smoke coming from the chimney. Deputies announced their presence and the suspect Thomas Langenderfer answered the door. Langenderfer advised Deputies that he was the property owner and was lawfully at the location.

Deputies were able to determine that Langenderfer was not the property owner and that he had no legal standing or authority to be at the location. Deputies also learned that Langenderfer had an active criminal protective order restraining him from the property and confirmed that Langenderfer had a criminal court hearing earlier in the day regarding the same matter.

Langenderfer, who is also on active summary probation for trespassing with terms that include obey all laws, was ultimately arrested for the listed charges and booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he is being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
