Synopsis: On 1/17/14 at approximately 1130 hours, Deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the American Legion Hall located in the 100 block of Feliz Creek Road in Hopland, California for a reported transient person inside the building.

Upon arrival Deputies observed a female who they knew to be Tahoe Foster standing inside. As Deputies were walking around the building looking for the entrance, Foster ran out the back door.

Deputies found a broken window and vandalism inside the building and $1,500.00 was estimated as the total cost of repairs.

Deputies went to locate Foster and found her barricaded inside a fire truck, which was nearby at the Hopland Fire Department.

Foster hid inside the truck and refused verbal commands to exit the vehicle. After several attempts the Deputies were able to physically remove her from the fire truck and placed her under arrest.

Foster was transported to the Mendocino County Jail where she booked to be held in lieu of $20,000.00 bail.
