Synopsis: On 02-07-2014 at approximately 10:36 PM, Mendocino County Sheriff's Office Deputies received a radio call for service regarding an unwanted subject at a residence located within the 15000 block of Cypress Lane in Caspar, California.

Upon arrival, Deputies learned that Holly Petersen had been in verbal argument with her son, Bradley Spencer. During the argument, Spencer damaged Petersenís front door and shoved Petersen to the ground.

Spencer was ultimately arrested pursuant to a private personís arrest for misdemeanor battery and vandalism. Spencer was ultimately served with an Emergency Protective Order obtained by Deputies from an on-call Judge and released at the scene on a written promise to appear. The Emergency Protective Order restrained Spencer from returning to the residence and/or having any contact with Petersen.

On 02-08-2014 at approximately 2:10 AM, Deputies were called back to the above location with information that Spencer returned, forced entry inside Petersenís residence, and then stole several items of personal property belonging to Petersen before leaving the location. During that time frame, Spencer damaged Petersenís telephone outlet cable in order to prevent her from summoning law enforcement.

At approximately 2:18 AM, Deputies located Spencerís vehicle driving southbound on North Highway 1. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle at Lansing Street and North Highway 1 in the area of Mendocino, California.

Spencer, who was driving the vehicle, was ultimately arrested and found in possession of Petersenís stolen property during a search conducted incident to that arrest.

Spencer was transported and booked into the Mendocino County Jail. Deputies contacted the on-call Judge for a bail increase based on the described events which resulted in a $400,000.00 bail.
