Synopsis: On 02-07-2014 at approximately 8:00 PM the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office received a report of two lost subjects (Aaron Larramendy & Samantha Labarbera) somewhere in the North Cow Mountain Recreation Area.

The two lost subjects had been exploring the area when their vehicle slid off the roadway and became stuck in a drainage ditch approximately 5 miles north of the Mayacamas Campground.

They began to walk in a northern direction for an extended period of time where they ended up on a ridge overlooking the Ukiah Valley.

The Mendocino County Search and Rescue Team were deployed to the area and utilizing off road vehicles and tracking techniques resulting in the rescue of the two lost subjects on 02-08-2014 at 12:50 AM.

Both subjects were uninjured and transported back to their residences in Ukiah, California.
