Synopsis: The public memorial service for fallen Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Ricky Del Fiorentino will be held on Wednesday March 26, 2014 beginning at 10:00 AM at the Cotton Auditorium located at 500 North Harold Street in Fort Bragg, California.

Public Safety agencies wishing to participate in a marked vehicle procession from inland Mendocino County are asked to arrive at the Redwood Empire Fair & Event Center (1055 North State Street Ukiah, Ca) on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 6:00 AM.

The procession will depart at 6:45 AM and will travel approximately 60 miles along the routes of Highway 101 to Highway 20 to Highway 1. The procession will then travel southbound on Highway 1 and turn eastbound onto Boice Lane where it will join the family procession to the Cotton Auditorium.

Public Safety agencies wishing to participate in a marked vehicle procession from Coastal Mendocino County are asked to arrive at the Georgia Pacific Mill Site (100 West Cypress Street) in Fort Bragg on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 8:00 AM. This procession will depart the Georgia Pacific Mill Site at 8:30 AM to stage on Boice Lane.

At 8:45 AM the inland and coastal procession teams will depart together from Boice Lane traveling northbound on Highway 1, eastbound on Maple Street, northbound on North Harold Street stopping at the Cotton Auditorium.

Both procession teams will utilize the Nalemars radio frequency for communications.

Parking on Maple Street and North Harold Street will be reserved for family, law enforcement and special guests. Carpooling to the memorial service is highly recommended.

The public should expect traffic delays in addition to the parking restrictions during the memorial service.

At this time East Fir Street has been deemed the exit point for all vehicles leaving the memorial service after its conclusion.
