Itinerant Permits

Steps for Obtaining an Itinerant Permit (Roadside or Door-to-door Sales)

NEW APPLICANT

We'll need you to bring the following items into the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office, located at 589A low Gap Road, Ukiah CA 95482 to process your permit:

A completed Itinerant Permit form (available at our Ukiah office);
Your driver’s license.

You will be fingerprinted, photographed and a local background check will be done.
There will be a fee of $32.00 (check or money order only) to the Department of Justice and a $30.00 fee to Mendocino County Sheriff's Office for the permit.

RENEWAL APPLICANT

Complete an Itinerant Permit form and bring your driver’s license to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office. You will be photographed to update your file.

There will be a $30.00 fee for the permit.
